How to operate your Sharp cash register -

1. Till must be connected to mains power

2. Mode key must be in the REG postion

3. Screen must be display 0.00 with no error mesages

4. Enter price of item or sale using the 0-9 numeric key pad

5. Press one of the department buttons

6. Repeat procedure untill all items have been entered

7. Press SUB TOTAL button

8. Enter amount tendered using the 0-9 numeric key pad

9. Press the correct tender button (TL/NS for cash)

10. Dispense change as displayed on screen

How to do a refund on a Sharp cash register -

This procedure will vary depending on your specifc Sharp cash register and how it has been programmed, but on most Sharp cash registers you have two ways of processing a refund - either through the REG mode or through the RF mode.

Refunds in the RF mode will require the manager key.

Refunds in the REG mode may be disabled for manager control over refunds.

To process refunds in the REG mode -

1. Till must be connected to mains power

2. Mode key must be in the REG position

3. Screen must be display 0.00 with no error mesages

4. Enter price of item being refunded or sale using the 0-9 numeric key pad

5. Press the relevant department button

6. Press SUB TOTAL button

7. Press the correct tender button (TL/NS for cash)

8. Dispense refund as displayed on screen / receipt
